A fundamental law of elementary particles is overturned.

A fundamental law of elementary particles is overturned. The law of conservation of parity specifies that elementary particles and their mirror images would behave identically. After two Chinese-born American physicists Tsung-Dao Lee & Chen Ning Yang (left to right) propose that some subatomic processes violate this law, a team led by a third Chinese-born American physicist, Chien-Shiung Wu, confirms the prediction.
